Attorneys Dana R. Wine and Wendi M. Freeman have completed the Family Court Mediation Certification program and serve as mediators to help parties reach amicable resolution regarding their Family Court conflicts. Family Court Mediation can reduce or eliminating the time, stress, and expense of Family Court litigation. Both Ms. Wine and Ms. Freeman have participated in numerous mediations as attorneys as well.
Mediation is the process of using a neutral mediator to resolve conflicts arising from marital and familial disagreement. Mediators do not represent any party, but rather serve in a neutral role assisting the parties in reaching an agreement. As mediators, we can help parties reach agreements and resolve their conflicts, thereby reducing or eliminating the need to costly and stressful litigation. Mediation helps parties stop focusing on “winning or losing” and start focusing on the common problem they share together, which is how both parties will resolve the common problem they both face but have differing views on. We have found that when parties have disagreement over how to resolve their familial issues, often getting to the negotiating table through mediation early can save tremendously in litigation expense and stress.
